Hello everyone, my name is Bao Ngoc. Today I would like to read about the exercise of anger.
Anger is when something is not right with us, we will be angry. Sanskrit can be translated as anger and harm to others. Anger is one of the Three Poisons. The three poisons translates as (Because we are restrained by the three poisons of greed, hatred, and delusion, we always create evil karma and thus create in our minds karmic forces in the form of pre-determined forces that bind the mind. At the end, sentient beings restrained by those pre-determined forces will have to follow their karma to be reborn in the six realms of samsara with a mind and body of a new life, in accordance with the karma they have created. out in the past). Do you know what the Buddha said about anger? Let me tell you. Buddha advises us not to be angry. Buddha does not distinguish anger because there is a good reason or not, reasonable or unreasonable. The Buddha said that when we are angry, we harm ourselves. At that time, my brain is no longer as smart and as sharp as it used to be. Anger makes your brain the brain of an animal. When anger is in our body, we release toxins to the body. I have a story about anger: There was a couple who had just given birth to a 1 month old baby, the child’s parents had a heated argument, causing the baby to wake up. The mother gave the child milk to drink, the child then died instantly. Why ? Because when people get angry, they will release toxins. So the mother gave the baby pineapple milk to drink after arguing, the toxins in her body were born and will be transferred into the milk, when given to the baby to drink and it died immediately. How to deal with anger? To deal with anger, we must have compassion, forgiving all the faults of others. There are three sentences to remind the mind not to get angry: “Don’t think about other people’s fault, only think about your fault I don’t see other people’s fault, I only see my fault Don’t say your fault, just say your fault. These are the three sayings to remind the mind not to be angry. And always forgive others. In my personal experience, there are many ways to put out the fire inside me: meditating, reading a book, … but I find that when I get angry, I will drink a glass of water, wash my face. When we are angry, our body will heat up like a fire, so drinking water will help us put out the fire inside of us. After drinking water and washing my face, I will keep my mind at peace, in order to find my fault, my heart is always compassionate and loving to everyone, always reminding my mind, tweezing my mind and resting my mind. After learning about anger, I was no longer angry like before, but always cheerful. But after learning this lesson, I have changed. No more anger or scowl. And you always have a smile on your face. Thank you everyone for listening

DISCUSSION
Hello everyone, my name is Bao Ngoc, today I would like to talk about my homework.
Thera Rahula was the only son of the Buddha with Princess Yashodara, the king’s grandson, when the Buddha was still the Crown Prince. But Rahula had a bad habit of lying, making others angry while he was happy. But on the contrary, Rahula is not insolent, disrespectful to adults, always seeking to learn and diligently practice. But like his father when Rahula was seven years old, Rahula decided to give up everything, money, possessions, material things, high power, fame, … to become a monk. One day, while the Buddha returned from his alms round, he went ahead, Rahula followed, no one stopped him, he just followed the Buddha. The Buddha returned to the forest and called Sariputra to say: – “Sariputra! Hey boy Rahula, follow me to ask for an inheritance, I don’t want to give Rahula a fragile fortune and happiness, I want to give Rahula an invaluable inheritance Please, Sariputta! Please let Rahula go forth, become the first novice of the Sangha.” After saying this, the Buddha called Muc Kien Lien to shave the boy’s hair, and again honored Sariputra as his guru to transmit the message. Shadi world. The Buddha knew that his son’s nature was to lie to others. So after ordination, the Buddha taught Rahula the first sermon, the Ambalathika Rahulvada Sutta. After listening to the sermon, Rahula repented and repented of his sins. It talks about the importance of honesty, of contemplation to get rid of all unwholesome and unwholesome thoughts, words, and actions. My lesson after learning this lesson is that I am always honest, don’t lie, and eliminate thoughts, words, actions, and unwholesome and negative meanings.
I have an example of lying: One day the Buddha asked Rahula to take a basin of water to wash his feet. Rahula took a basin of strange water and the Buddha finished washing his feet, asked Rahula that: Can the basin of water after washing the legs be used anymore? Rahula replied no, Buddha. So in life it can be understood as “once you say it, you can never take it back”
Thank you everyone for listening to me

Rahula found out his problem and started to fix it. Soon, he wasn’t told lie anymore and leaded the villagers to the right direction to the Buddha, people also started to talk and love him more. After listening to this story, I have learned a lesson. It is not telling the untruthful thing even it ‘s a joke because it is not good for us. People are angry and we have bad deeds and later, we will also be splashed like the leftover water. You have to remember that we can’t take back our words so beware before telling something.it is just fun for a second but when you die, you have to bear a terrible penalty in the hell because of lying. How could I prove it? I will prove it by telling my own experiment and it was also my worse memory ever. My mom said that if I finish all the housework and take a shower, she would allow us to go to the supermarket. Everykids love supermarket, so do I. But at that time, I was very lazy, so I just take a shower and waiting for my mom. She asked me:’’ has you so the house work yet.’’ I thought for a while and said proudly:’’ Yah, I did it already.’’ She drove me and my brother to the supermarket to chill. But when she came home, my mom went upstairs and she was shocked. The room was really dirty, a huge argument broke out with me and my mom. Look back from now, I felt terrible, if at that time, I tell her the truth that I haven’t done the housework, maybe we don’t have the argue and she will forbear me. Thanks for listening!

At my last presentation, I had talked about Rahula, he was an intelligence and lucky person. But in his childhood, he was a very naughty kid that usually telling lies. People in the city really wanted to see the Buddha. Rahula was bored so he wanted to make fun of them by telling lies. If the Buddha is in the monastery, he will say the Buddha is meditating in the mountain. And if the Buddha is in the mountain, Rahula would say he is in the monastery. He was very pleased and happy about his lie because he has fooled the villagers. He did that the first time, the second time or the third time, people were still believe him. But Rahula had lie too much that nobody wanted to talk with him anymore. Everyone complained about Rahula ’s lies. The Buddha passed by and understood the topic problem, so he decided to teach Rahula a lesson about truthful. He asked Rahula come with him, and washed his feet. He asked:’’ Can you see this little bit water left in this vessel?’’ ‘’Yes, sir, ‘’Rahula replied. ‘’It was like the people who lie without feeling embarrass. ‘’He splashed the leftover water away and explained:’’ As you can see, those people who lie without feeling embarrass, deserve to be throw away.’’ He continued put up side down the vessel and asked:’’ Can you see how this vessel put upside down?’’ ‘’Yes sir, I can see it’’ ‘’ Rahula people who lie without feeling embarrass was also turn upside down like that.’’ The Buddha put the vessel back to normal, asked Rahula:’’ Can you see how empty and hollow this vessel is?’’ ‘’You are right, it was completely empty!’’ ‘’ The words of the people who lie without feeling embarrass was also empty and hollow just like the inside of this vessel.

All the Dhamma discourses that Buddha taught many years ago were very popular. For example, enlightenment, a lot of sutras. But do you know about two lessons that he taught to Rahula? Do you know how to be honest and meditate? Maybe you don’t know, and so am I. I need to know both lessons thoroughly because they are really helpful. So that’s why I have to study them.
As we know a lie is very dangerous. When I read the first lesson, I could know that Buddha encouraged us. He encouraged us to have to be honest. When we are truthful, everyone loves us and also believes us too. In other hand, if you just lie, no one can respect you. You can lost yourself with a lie. That’s why we always said:” The most dangerous thing is the lie.”
And in the second lesson, in my opinion, it is difficult to thoroughly understand. In my opinion it’s pretty abstract. Anyways, this lesson is very awesome. Buddha taught us a lot of ways to meditate. For example he said with Rahula:” It is not mine, the ego is not mine.” He taught about 5 elements:” fire, soil, water, wind, and space.” Buddha also taught us about loving-kindness, compassion, empathetic joy, equanimity. Be not hatred, be not violent, and be not selfish. And he taught breathing meditation. Buddha taught us to have to observe breathe when we meditate, mindfulness meditation. He taught 16 ways mindfulness breathe. Breathing to focus on inconstancy, on relinquishment. Breathing to the stable mind, to the entire body. You have to know when the in-breath and out-breath end and your breath is long or short. Breathing in, breathing out can develop your mind and you can have the great results.
Although I can understanding both of these lessons. But I think the first lesson is easier to learn and apply in life than the second lesson. As you can see, in my opinion, the second lesson is pretty abstract. Just my thoughts, how about you?
Most people, when they have a goal, they always do it immediately. They never mind what are they going to do. They just mind about how long to reach their goal. This way is completely wrong and they will never get good results. They will not succeed if they don’t mind carefully in their plan. So, why don’t let me share some tips?
First, you have to remember 4 things:” goals, plans, implementation, and results.” The great results or the bad results depend on your step 3 and a little lucky. For example, I want to study in a famous high school. So I have to study every day and do exercise to take care of our health. Like in the morning we do exercise, then we study. And in the evening we do the homework.
Everyone has a different goal so they have different ways and steps. They can find a way most suitable with them. This is just my experience so you can read it for refer.
To sum up, all the Dhamma discourses that Buddha taught are very awesome. But how to understand them or apply them in our life is up to each of us. And if you want to accomplish your goal, you have to make plan to achieve it.
Through the 2 tasks I have done, we study anger. Anger is a negative emotion that we have to remove it. If the anger is still alive, it can burn our kind hearts. So that’s why we have to deal with the anger, turn it into a good seed. But we have to treat it gently, with a mighty love. And what is the specific way to deal with anger? Let me tell you. We have to meditate. Why? When we meditate, we can observe ourselves, observe our breath. Is the breath long or short, which nose is the breath go through,…We also have to mindful in eating, it can calm you down. Which goes hand in hand with understanding theory is practice. By this way, the anger will disappear, it will return to the soil, water, fire, wind, and space because the anger is not mine.
One more thing is about Anger Poem. I think the meaning is when we anger we have to know that we are angry and have to change. I will tell you in more detail when we get angry, we are like a chariot gone astray. Then we know we were wrong and regret it, we have to change ourselves, and we are like a real driver. We have to tell the truth, don’t yield the anger, who asking for a little of the anger, we will give it away, without regrets. Wise people won’t hurt others, who know their bodies. Therefore they will no longer feel suffering. Those who wish to reach nirvana, practice day and night, passion, desire will lead them.
In general, anger is very dangerous if we keep it for a long time. So we have to meditate daily to remove the anger.

REVIEW OF THE FIRST WEEK LEARNING
Day 1
This was the first day. At the first time, I was bored and felt dislike because I thought summer is for relaxing not for studying. So I didn’t want to join this class. But however, when the teacher taught me, I was very surprised. I really enjoyed it. On the first day, I studied Buddhism, what is Buddhism, about temples, ceremonies.
Day 2
Next day, I was so tired because I had to wake up early. But on the second day, I studied about mindful eating. What is mindful in eating, How could we mindful in eating,.. In my opinion, it was the lightest day. And also on the second day, we had to remember chanting before the meal.
Day 3
On the third day, I felt comfortable, the online schedule made me more comfortable. I studied the lesson that Buddha taught. The main idea of each lesson. On the third day, I realized that when I wrote something and the teacher said that I had many errors. But I thought when I had errors, I could know I was not really good in writing than I thought. It seems liked that I practice my writing skill for the test in July. Also, I’m really thankful to my teacher.
Day 4
On this day, I studied Rahula. This is the longest essay I have written. More than 800 words. And on the fourth day, I could know more about Rahula.
Day 5
Day 5 was the end of my 1 online week, half of the course. I studied the first lesson that Buddha taught Rahula. At the first time, I was a little worried, because I wrote the first lesson in the last speech. Luckily, I read a book, It is very clear, so I could do an essay.
Overview one week
Now, I felt more comfortable and happier than the first day. Even though I don’t want this online course will end. I will try my best in the next week.
My assignment topic: Summarize all lesson in this week, and my feeling in the whole week.
Day 1:
It was a first day for us to study Dhamma, so it wasn’t too hard for us to do. The first topic was: “How do you think about Buddhism and why we have to take refuge in triple gems and observe 5 precepts”. It were questions that include everything about Buddhism. At first t thought that we just answer it in the short way. But when I did research and heard my friend’s presentation, I suddenly had more ideas for this questions, so my answer had more meaning than the previous answers. When I finished and submitted to my teacher, I thought that tomorrow the lesson would be easy like today. But….
Day 2:
I had to try harder than yesterday because the lesson was quite hard. We studied “mindful in eating” and also we had to answer some question, just like yesterday and also I had to learn by heart the “Chanting before meals” sutta. But this topic had changed me. Yesterday I didn’t eat in mindful. I ate too fast that I couldn’t fel the taste of the food. Bud today I’m better than yesterday. I ate slowly and I could feel the taste instead of eating too fast. The teacher also required us to said “Thank you” with our parents because they had made the meal for us. So when the meal was over, I came to my mom and said “Thanks for helping me to have this great meal”, she smiled and felt very happy. In the evening, my body was tired after a day, so I went to bed at 9:00 PM and slept immediately to have more energy for the tomorrow’s assignment.
Day 3:
As usual, after finished the breakfast, lunch and dinner, I always said thank you with my parents. Then I turned on my PC and prepared for the assignment. I thought that today I had to work more than yesterday, but I was surprised when I saw this: “Record in video your chanting of contemplation of ten perfecting qualities. Please explain the third quality”. I have to explain each words and give real life examples to solve the problem, but my mind felt so shy when I recorded the video because I didn’t want anybody to see my face. But finally I done it and submitted it as soon as possible to get a good mark. But my friend, Tú, didn’t know how to do it so I had to help him with the assignment. Finally he could do it without any help. I felt very happy because today I had done a good thing. And this feelings help me to reach the next day without any tired.
Day 4:
On this day, I studied about Thera Rahula. The teacher required us to write an essay at least 200 words. So I need to discuss with my classmates. They gave me lots of ideas so I could write a 240 word essay. But I felt so happy because my essay was 250 words – one of the longest essay. At the end of the day, I could know more about the Buddha and his son – Rahula. I was happy because in just 1 day I learned a lot of useful lessons, the things that I have never done before.
Day 5:
It was the end of my online week – half of the course. I studied the first lesson that Buddha taught Rahula. At the first time, I felt a little bit nervous because I couldn’t find any ideas from the internet to copy J. But I remember the teacher’s required “Do not copy from the internet, do it yourself”. So I discussed with my classmates on zoom. From there I found many ideas, but it wasn’t enough. So I read some books to finds more ideas. Then I combine them and I filter out unnecessary sentences in my essay. Finally I submitted for the teacher and… MANY ERRORS! I asked my parents for advices, they just said that I have to think and write it by myself because the books and internet just a transportation for me to have more ideas. So I rewrote it and submitted again. And this time, TOO MANY ERRORS. So I have to think and fix my essay, and I submitted 3 times L. I looked at the clock, and it was 9:00 PM, so I went to bed and slept, in my mind I always hope the tomorrow’s lesson was easier than today.
My feellings K:
After finished 1 week, I realized that the lesson changed me! Last year, I was a naughty boy, always woke up late and never listened to my parents. But now I’m better, always listened to my parents, said thank you when finished meals, woke up earlier, always submitted the assignment as soon as possible. I was happy because I did lots of good things and habits in 1 week. I hope that next week I could maintain this good deeds and I hope everyone could have a good life.
Discussion
What was the first Dhamma discourse which the Buddha taught Rahula? What are the main points which the Buddha taught Rahula? What can you learn from this lesson?
The first Dhamma discourse that the Buddha taught Rahula was the Ambalatthika Rahulovada sutta. The Buddha had to say that sutta because Rahula always told a lie with other people, they were very angry but no one scolded him because Rahula was the Buddha’s son and he was a monk. One day, saw the Buddha was coming, Rahula cleaned up the seat and prepared water for the Buddha to wash his feet. When finished washing, the Buddha left some water in the basin and asked: “Rahula, do you see a little water left in the basin?”. Rahula replied: “Venerable One, I see.” The Buddha said: “In the same way, Rahula, the life of a monk is really meaningless if you still lie without shame.” The Buddha immediately poured out all the water in the basin and said: “Life as a monk is really like leaving if you still lie without shame.” Then the Buddha turned the basin upside down and taught: “The monk’s life is really turned upside down if you still lie without shame”. Finally, the Buddha turned the basin over, put it neatly and taught: “The monk’s life is really empty and tasteless if you still lie without shame”. The Buddha also said: “For example, a king’s elephant, with tusks as long as a plow’s handle, large, well-trained, is often present on the battlefield. When fighting, this elephant uses its front and back legs, uses the front and back body, uses the head, uses the ears, uses the tusks, uses the tail, but protects the trunk. Here, we think: “This king’s elephant has tusks as long as a plow’s handle, large, well-trained, often present on the battlefield. When going to battle, this elephant often uses its front, back legs, use the front, back body, use the head, use the ears, use the tusks, use the tail, but protect the trunk. The king’s elephant does not throw away his life.” But when, Rahula, the king’s elephant, with tusks as long as a plow’s handle, large, well-trained, often present on the battlefield, when in battle, this elephant uses its front, back legs, Use the front, back body, use the head, use the ears, use the tusks, use the tail, also use the trunk. Here, we think: “This king’s elephant, with tusks as long as a plow’s handle, is large, well-trained, often present in battle. When going to battle this elephant often uses its front, back legs, use the front, back body, use the head, use the ears, use the tusks, use the tail, use the trunk,… The king’s elephant has thrown away his life, and now the elephant of the king, there is nothing that cannot be done.” In the same way, Rahula, to anyone who knows how to lie and has no shame, there is nothing wrong with him that he should not do. Therefore, Rahula, “I am determined not to lie, even if I speak for fun,” Rahula, you must do it”. To the person who lied without shame, the Buddha declared that there was no evil things that he didn’t do. Therefore, Rahula, you must try to make up your mind to decide: “Even while playing, I do not lie“. Through the above story, the Buddha wanted to say that we mustn’t tell a lie because it’s a bad habit and it can lead us to the wrong way, He always want us to tell the truth. I think that this lession is for everyone. We must tell the truth instead of telling a lie, because when we tell a lie, we’re dishonest and everyone won’t believe us. People always hate the dishonest person, so don’t tell a lie even you’re joke. In the past, I told a lie with my parents, I saw they were too upset, I felt that my action was terrible. So I decided to change this bad habit, but all of the bad habits were hard to change, but finally I can do it. So the advice for everyone is always tell the truth, even if you tell the truth, you will be at a disadvantage.

What was the second lesson that the Buddha taught Rahula? Please summarise the main points in the second lesson. What was Rahula reaction to the second lesson? Use your own thinking and your own words. Do not fully copy from the internet. Write your answers in at least one page 200 words.
– The second lesson that the Buddha taught Rahula was about Rahula love his beautiful body. The reason was when the Buddha and the Sangha went for alms-food, Rahula always looked at the Buddha’s beauty. Suddenly Rahula thought that “I am as beautiful as the Buddha, my father. Buddha’s body is extremely beautiful and majestic, my body is also beautiful like Buddha”. The Buddha saw that the thought of attachment had arisen in Rahula which, if not stopped immediately, would bring much suffering to Rahula. The Buddha turned and said to Rahula: “No matter how beautiful, ugly, or otherwise the form, must be observed like this: “this isn’t mine, this isn’t me, this isn’t myself either me”. Rahula respectfully asked the Buddha if we should only view the form as such, the Buddha taught that we should view all the five aggregates in the same way. There were these five attributes, Rahula. What were five attributes? Earth, water, fire, wind and space attribute. Then the thought occurred to Ven. Rahula, “Who, having been exhorted face-to-face by the Blessed One, would go into the town for alms today?” He turned back and sat down at the foot of a tree, folding his legs crosswise, holding his body erect, & setting mindfulness to the fore. Thera Sariputta saw Thera Rahula sitting at the foot of a tree, his legs folded crosswise, his body held erect, & with mindfulness set to the fore. On seeing him, he said to him, “Rahula, develop the meditation of mindfulness of in and out breathing. The meditation of mindfulness of in and out breathing, when developed & pursued, is of great fruit, of great benefit”. Then Rahula, emerging from his seclusion in the late afternoon, went to the Blessed One and, having bowed down, sat to one side. As he was sitting there he said to him, “How, lord, is mindfulness of in-&-out breathing to be developed & pursued so as to be of great fruit, of great benefit?”. The Buddha said: “Rahula, any form whatsoever that is past, future, or present; internal or external; blatant or subtle; common or sublime; far or near: every form is to be seen as it actually is with right discernment as: ‘This is not mine. This is not myself. This is not what I am.’ There are these five properties, Rahula. Which five? The earth, water, fire, wind and space property”. One day the Buddha asked Rahula: “Rahula, is mindfulness of in-&-out breathing developed & pursued so as to be of great fruit, of great benefit?” He replied: “There is the case where a monk, having gone to the wilderness, to the shade of a tree, or to an empty building, sits down folding his legs crosswise, holding his body erect, and setting mindfulness to the fore. Always mindful, he breathes in; mindful he breathes out”. The main points in this second lesson were the Buddha wanted to show Rahula that this body is impermanent but Rahula saw that this body is beautiful. Our body is getting old every day, so don’t waste your efforts to take care of this body too much, but use that time for more useful purposes. Rahula’s reaction to the second lesson was that Rahula knew he was wrong, so he asked the Buddha’s permission not to go begging for a few days. Then Rahula stopped under a tree, sat cross-legged, straightened his back and focused on meditating. Rahula after listened to the Buddha’s teaching, he always tried his best to perform it.
- Who was Rahula?
– Thera Rahula is the son of Prince Siddhattha and Princess Yasodhara and had attained Arahantship.
- Please tell any special things you know of Rahula?
– The special things I know about Rahula: He was the Buddha’s son and also he was the Buddha’s disciple.
- Who was the teacher of Rahula?
– The teacher of Thera Rahula was Thera Sariputta.
- What was the bad habit of Rahula?
– The bad habit of Rahula was telling a lie with other people. One day, seeing the Buddha coming from afar, the novice Rahula cleaned up the seat and prepared water for the Buddha to wash his feet. When finished washing, the Buddha left some water in the basin and asked: “Rahula, do you see a little water left in the basin?”. Rahula replied: “Venerable One, my womb sees.” The Buddha said: “In the same way, Rahula, the life of a novice is really meaningless if you still lie without shame.” The Buddha immediately poured out all the water in the basin and said: “Life as a novice is really like leaving if you still lie without shame.” Then the Buddha turned the bowl upside down and taught: “The novice’s life is really turned upside down if you still lie without shame”. Finally, the Buddha turned the bowl over, put it neatly and taught: “The novice’s life is really empty and tasteless if you still lie without shame”. To the person who lied without shame, the Buddha declared that there is no evil things that he does not do. Therefore, Rahula, you must try to make up your mind to decide: “Even while playing, I do not lie.”
- Write a story of Rahula’s life?
-Rahula is the only child of Prince Siddhattha and Princess Yasodhara. He was born on the day that Prince Siddhattha decided to leave the world. He lamented: “A “Rahu” has been born, yet another bondage!”. So the king named his grandson Rahula. Rahula grew up in a fatherless situation, raised and cared for by her mother and royal relatives. When the Buddha returned to Kapilavatthu for the first time, Rahula was seven years old. On the seventh day after the Buddha stayed in the city, Princess Yasodhara told her son to come and ask for the Buddha’s inheritance. Rahula said: “Venerable One, please give me an inheritance.” The Buddha immediately called Sariputta to celebrate the ordination ceremony for Rahula. Rahula practiced and attained Arahantship when he was 19 years old, which was also the year Rahula entered Nirvana.

Hi Dad,
How are you? Are you still working or asleep? Today is the big event, today is your day, Father’s Day. I don’t want to say I love you or I want you can succeed in your work like many years ago. I think you know, the apology is very hard to say so that’s why I just want to apologize to you with this letter. Please spend a little time reading it.
Do you remember Daddy? When I truanted English class? I didn’t want to study because I just wanted to read a new book. And of course, you scolded me and didn’t allow me to read books. Even though didn’t allow me to use my phone. I was very angry with you and didn’t talk with you anymore, maybe for more than 1 month. But I was really surprised that at the final exam, I had high grades. You allowed me to read books again. When you kept my books, I didn’t realize that you didn’t want me to play because you want I can focus on study. I forgot that you just do all the best things for me. And what did I do? I mad at you, I didn’t talk with you.
Do you remember one more thing? When I lose an important table tennis match 3 months ago, I missed the chance to join the city team. I missed the competition with Ha Noi city. I went out where I had a match with a sad face. I cried a lot. You had appeased me. But I didn’t hear anything. On the contrary, I said:” You can’t know my feelings, so please don’t say anything!” I went away, didn’t care what did you talk. I don’t believe that I mad at you for the silly reason.
And 4 months ago, when my mother went to the pagoda for 2 weeks. We had a wonderful week. Every day, you take me to the bookstore, the theatre, and also eat at the restaurants every evening. I really love it. But if the next time, my mother goes with us, it is better even though she won’t let me buy anything.
I know you’re very sad about your daughter, you’re disappointed with your daughter. I know I am a bad child. So now, I’m wanting to say:” I’m sorry, Daddy! And thank you for everything you did for me! I won’t do it again, I won’t make you feel sad again! Never! I know this is very hard, but Dad, can you forgive everything?”

Rahula said:” Buddha, Buddha! Can you give me a treasure? I want a treasure! Please give me!” Because of this saying, Rahula left home to be ordained and he was enlightened. But before he became Thera Rahula, he had a difficult journey. And he also was taught by Buddha. All the Dhamma that Buddha had taught to Rahula are the important keys that he could use to become a Thera. It was the big treasure that Buddha gave to Rahula. The first Dhamma discourse that Buddha taught him honesty. Honest is one of the five precepts.
One day, Svastika asked Rahula:” How are you so elegant and so be majesty? Can you teach me?” Rahula smiled and said:” OK! Let me tell you. Buddha is very strict but Buddha loves me so much. When I was just 13 years old, I could eat and drink according to the mendicants. And when I was just 11 years old, can you believe it? I lied to the Venerable Sariputta because I was scared if he could know I played instead of studied diligently. You know, when I lied one time, I can lie many times just for fun! And of course, I lied too many times, I was scared if Buddha could know my bad habit, but finally, he could hear it from someone that I had lied them.So we had a talk. And it was also the first lesson I could hear from him. He taught me a lesson that I could remember it until now. A lesson could change myself like today.” Rahula continued:” Buddha went to where I lived, I saw Buddha and took a water pot to him. After Buddha washed his feet, he poured the water and asked me:’ Rahula, the water in this pot is more or less than before?’ I replied:’ Dear Buddha, the water in the pot is less than before.’ Buddha explained:’ You know, Rahula, all of the liars can’t have any good things. The good things come to them very little, or even nothing .’ I thought:’ Oh no! He knew it!’ Buddha poured all of the water in the pot and questioned:’ Rahula, I have poured all the water, you see?’ ‘ Dear Buddha, I can see,’ I said. Buddha continued:’ Rahula, if you weren’t truthly , your personality will be turned upside down like this pot. So Rahula, that’s why you have to be truthful. What can you do with the mirror?’ I responded:’ Dear Buddha, we can look at us by the mirror.’ Buddha said:’ You’re right! Like a person who looks at a mirror, you have to observe yourself, your actions, your thoughts, and also your words.” Back to the talk of Rahula and Svastika, Rahula said:”So like what you have heard it, Svastika. This was a big event could change my life.” Svastika remembered all of the times he lied to the other. He regretted and promised:” I will never lie anymore.”.
After I read this story from a book, I was like Svastika, I so regret all the times I lied to my mother. I have promised that I will never lie, but the bad habit is very difficult to change. All the bad habits are very hard to change, not just lie. But I’m still trying harder every day.
Through this story,we know that honest is very important in our life, many people can believe us. But if we lie to everyone, no one loves us. Even though they hate and don’t respect us. To sum up, we have to careful in our words, don’t just lie one time and lose ourselves, we can fall into the sufferings and sink in the bad things.

Anger is an unnecessary human emotion, anger makes us lose control and can do foolish things. Sometimes anger can kill us and the people around us, making them even more alienated from us. The Buddha said that beware of the anger of the mind, and control the mind. The Buddha also said that leaves the sins of the mind and practice virtue with the mind. The Buddha have said about how to deal with anger. For example, “overcome the angry by non- anger, overcome the wicked by goodness, overcome the miser by generosity, overcome the liar by the truth”. In the past, I have experienced about anger many times. After going to the temple to bow to the Buddha and consult with the monks, I found a way to free myself from anger by reading books and listening to music and those things make me so much less stressed and make me love life more. The Buddha reminded us to not be angry, calm down when we are angry no matter the reason right or wrong. People must know that when we are angry our mind cannot calm down and we will bring the affliction to people. The Buddha said that: calm down so we don’t bring affliction to yourselves. Normally, when somebody is angry, he or she often wants to punish the opponent severely. The more anger, the greater misunderstanding, the deeper hatred, the more tragic it is, how can someone who holds a grudge to be happy. In the past when angry with me, I used to criticize someone in my mind for what they did to me. Now when I’m angry, I just keep my distance from people to calm down and slowly bring it down and let it go under my control. And that was all my experience of anger in the past and until I took this course and now I have changed.
And once again, thank you, Master Minh Tam, for teaching and interacting with us all this time

The Buddha taught to Rahula
What was the first Dhamma discourse which the Buddha taught Rahula ?
As we all know, Rahula is the son of the Buddha and the great disciple of the Buddha, because of his young age, he is extravagant and often uses lies to deceive people for fun. Seeing that, the Buddha called him out to wash his feet and told Rahula to drink the water but he refused, the Buddha taught ordinary people to be as pure as that basin of water, not to lie, but after washing, the basin of water will be partially dirty, that is a lie. Buddha asked Rahula to empty the other pot of water and he asked if it could still hold rice and Rahula replied that it could not, and he taught that body, speech, and mind are not pure, filled with defilements and are not true, how to put moral food into the mind. The Buddha turned the bowl upside down and taught that a practitioner’s life would turn upside down if he deliberately lied. The Buddha turned the bowl upside down and taught that a practitioner’s life would become as empty as this one if he deliberately lied. After the Buddha finished teaching, he lightly knocked the pot with his foot and rolled it a few times, causing Rahula to panic, the Buddha asked Rahula is afraid this pot will break and he answer the foot basin is a dirty object, it’s can to have a tank break. After that short but clear lecture on lying, Rahula listened to his father’s teachings and penetrated deep in his heart. Then the Buddha instructed him how to consider all his actions.

THE MEDITATION HELPS US TO CONTROL THE ANGER
In my opinion, there are two kind of meditation to train ourselves to control the anger. The first meditation is: meditation of compassion to removes the hatred, for examples: when someone makes us angry, we will try to think of their good action, get rid of her mistakes and will not be angry with her. The meditation of compassion help me to know how to remove the anger. When I feel angry with someone, I will not hit or hurt them but I will be calm and think about their goodness and ignore their mistakes. This meditation help me to know to sympathize and love everybody more.
The second meditation is: mindful meditation. This meditation teaches us to have to be mindful in everything. For examples: We are breathing in, we know we’re breathing in. We are breathing out, we know we’re breathing out. We are hungry and we know we are hungry. We’re thirsty and we know we are thirsty. We are hot and we know we feel hot, we are cold and we know we feel cold. We’re not comfortable and we know we’re not comfortable. We are angry and we know we are angry. So we will control the anger easier.
Two kind of above meditation help me to know to be mindful in my life, be nice and be compassionate with everybody more.

ANGER:
Anger is not a good feelings. When we are angry, we can lose our control and can do the wrong action. BUDDHA taught everybody about miserability of anger: We should be calm when we faced with the anger.
How can we remove the anger: overcome the anger by not being angry, same as winning the evil people by a goodness. When someone makes you angry, you should think about his good point, his good quality and ignore his mistakes. I used to be angry and when I was angry, I would take the book I liked to read to forget my anger. When anybody make me angry, I will try to ask myself why I am angry, what the reason make me angry and it helps me to be calm. When I was I child, me and my fiend disputed the toy, we didn’t gave way the toy. At this time, I was so angry and hit her and she hit me again and we were scratched. When I calmed, I saw the anger is has not good and can make my friendship is rift. When that time, we will hurt us and I went to my friend to sorry her and she was so happy. I and her were a friend again. Control the anger is very good and it will not harm anybody if we know control the anger
THE FIRST DHAMA DISCOURSE WHICH BUDDHA TAUGHT TO RAHULA
AND
WHAT I CAN LEARN FROM THIS LESSON
RAHULA likes to tell the lie to everybody for fun. When the BUDDHA is in the monastery, RAHULA say he is in the mountain and when BUDDHA is in the mountain, RAHULA says he is in the monastery. Everybody feels so angry. BUDDHA knows that and he go to RAHULA’s place to teach him the lesson. The name of the lesson is: BALATHINA. RAHULA is very surprised and welcome BUDDHA. RAHULA brings the water vessel to wash his father’ feet. The BUDDHA is quiet and he asks RAHULA: “Can we drink this dirty water? ” RAHULA is scared to say: “Venerable BUDDHA, this is a dirty drink and we can’t drink it.” BUDDHA teach RAHULA: “That dirty water is like you. The water is pure but after washing the feet, it is dirty. Dirtiness in your body is like the pure water which wash the feet, it’s dirty.” The BUDDHA ask RAHULA: “Can it contain the rice?” RAHULA answers: “No, because the water vessel is very dirty!” BUDDHA teaches: “You are like this vessel. You are a monk but you don’t keep precepts, so how can you understand the ethics. And BUDDHA teaches him many things of life, BUDDHA says: “Everybody will not believe you if you tell a lie.” Whatever BUDDHA teaches, RAHULA always listens to his father and corrects his mistakes. Since then, RAHULA is always honest and never tells a lie again. I think the lesson BUDDHA teach for RAHULA is right. In my past, I sometimes told a lie and I thought it was normal. But my mum and dad said: “If you tell a lie, everybody will not believe you any more”. But I didn’t listen to their advice. One day, I had a piano test in the afternoon, it was not difficult. My mother said: “You should sleep a little bit for better test”. I didn’t sleep, I read the book but I said with my mother I slept. In the afternoon, I couldn’t play well the piano because I felt sleepy and got a low mark. My mother was sad and I felt very sorry because I told a lie with her and didn’t listen to her advice. And then, I try to be honest, not to tell a lie again because it is a bad habit which can harm myself and lose belief of others for me.

RAHULA:
Who was RAHULA? RAHULA was a unique son of BUDDHA (Prince Siddhartha GOUTAMA) and Princess YASODARA. The special of RAHULA: He was a unique son of BUDDHA and he was the first novice monk but RAHULA didn’t know his father’s face but he had a lot of love and rich life.
The teacher of RAHULA was SARIPUTA, who often helped BUDDHA to do some things.
When RAHULA was 7 years old, BUDDHA went to hometown to help RAHULA to become novice monk. YASODARA usually encourage RAHULA to wear a beautiful clothes and always said: “You went to see your father and ask him for the asset, BUDDHA had a lot of treasures but we can’t see them.” So, where ever BUDDHA went, SAHURA always went after him, always said: Please give me the treasure. !
One day, the BUDDHA went to the forest and said to RAHULA: I didn’t want to give you the asset or happiness, I want to give you a priceless treasures. And then, BUDDHA asked somebody to cut RACULA’s hair and ordained for him. Because RAHULA was forced to live in SANGHA, so he was not happy and usually told the lie to bedevil everybody for fun. In the text, it want to transmit one thing, in both paragraph. If they tell us the lie, we still tell them the truth. We could not change our own nature because of a bad people. Whatever they do or said to you, you don’t care, you just be your personality is kindness. If somebody gave you a present but you don’t take it. So they have to take it back. Just like that, it an anger burst out but you care and take it, it will slowly vanished away. We take the kindness and patient to heal the anger, they punished you, they complain and hit you. But you just bear them and your loving will slowly persaud them. Maybe they have bad deeds but I don’t want to be like them. For example, Agulimala the killer want to kill the Buddha, he used bad words to complain The Buddha. What did the Buddha do? He just gentlely walk and explain to Agulimala. And that mae him shock and join the Sangha.
Discussion
As far as I know, anger is a person with a malicious, dangerous mind, maybe because that anger can do a dark thing and it can harm others. If you are a child, you will become unwise, annoying and disobedient. If it is an adult, that person will do something cruel and dark. The Buddha told us that: “Give up the heat, complications will not come to everyone”. The Buddha also taught that it is necessary to learn to recognize and transform anger, when anger should not be kept in the heart but should be said. We should express our suffering sincerely and honestly to all the people who have angered us, then there will be a way to solve the problem.
Even in the past and present, I have had some minor tantrums. The other day, when I was sleeping, my mother woke me up and told me, “Get up, it’s too late, baby.” Because I couldn’t sleep at night, I woke up late in the morning. Then I told my mother, “Because I can’t sleep at night, let me sleep a little longer.” Your mother just said that it’s too late. At that time, I was a little angry, but then I overcame it. By listening to relaxing music or reading a book can also easily handle that anger, I always use that way to control my anger. But I also knew it was wrong, so I let it go and apologized. (to whom?)
Rahula’s life
- Crown Prince Tat – Dat – Da married Princess Dadu-dala at the age of 19. When the princess was 29 years old, she gave birth to him. The Buddha gave him a name that was Rahula. When Lahula was 7 days old, the Buddha left home that night to find the truth. Although in the forest of Nicau Da, But the Buddha also often went to the palace to hold alms round or preach the Dharma. The boy Rahula, innocently cute, cordially said to him: – “Buddha, I would love to be with you.” That statement showed the deep love of father and mother, and the Buddha also replied: “The day will come when I will let you live near Me.” The Buddha said that sentence not long ago, of course Rahula left home and followed him. The reason is because Yasodara often encourages Rahula to be more agile, to wear nice clothes, and to tell her: – “Please follow Father to ask for property. Your father has treasures we haven’t seen yet!” Therefore, Rahula often ran after the Buddha saying: – “Buddha gave me fortune”. One day, while the Buddha was returning for alms, he went ahead, Rahula ran after him, no one stopped him, he kept following the Buddha and cried: – “Give me a fortune! Give me a fortune!” Da Du Da La saw her only child walking behind the Buddha, was very afraid of Rahula being sent home, and involuntarily shed tears.
- From a young age, Lahula had a personal teacher named sariputta. When he was 7 years old, he began to follow his father’s footsteps. Later, thanks to the Buddha’s conversion, Yasodara and Rahula were both ordained and certified. only Arahant when he was only 20 years old. He was also the youngest disciple in the Buddhist Sangha.
- Rāhula used to accompany the Buddha on his alms round.⁷ Rāhula found that he harbored carnal thoughts fascinated by his own and his father’s physical beauty, the Buddha taught. he, at the age of eighteen, the Mahārāhulovāda Sutra (qv) Every day Rahula gets up early to clean the garden, clean inside and out, and then practice according to the Buddha’s teachings. It takes a lot of time to clean a large garden. One day, Rahula finished cleaning and went to listen to the Buddha’s sermon, only returned to his room in the afternoon, at that time Rahula’s room was managed by the Bhikkhu monk for a guest monk, Rahula’s robes were all was left outside, guests were safe in the room. Buddha has prescribed one person to one room, his room has been occupied by others, how do you know? Moreover, Rahula is also a novice, in the Sangha of novices must respect the Bhikkhus, and the Buddha also teaches to be patient, so Rahula did not dare to ask the other teacher why he was in his room. Rahula stood dumbfounded outside the door, what a dilemma. At that time, dark clouds filled the sky, signaling the coming of heavy rain; Rahula did not know where to hide, so he entered the latrine, although it smelled really bad, but there was only one way to sit in it. At that time, I really felt the loneliness of being homeless. Rahula sat down in the latrine, trying to remember .
- Rahula entered nirvana before the Buddha when he was less than 50 years old. Before entering nirvana, he remembered that he was known by friends as Rahulahadda (Rāhula, God of luck). He himself said ¹⁷ that he is worthy of this title because he has twice been honored as a child of the Buddha and an arahant. Asoka built a stupa in honor of Rahula, which was specially worshiped by the novices. After his death, he was born in the Nāga world as Paṭhavindhara. Born as Pavihavindhara, eldest son of King Kiki, In many stories of Jātaka, Rāhula He is also Yaññadatta, son of Mandavya (Sāriputta) and young tortoise of Mahā Ukkusa. Mentioned as son of Bo Theme Tam

Letter to Dad
Because I often go to work in the morning and come home late, I must be asleep by the time you read this letter. Dad is always worried about making money for the family, so are you tired? Why are there so few at lunchtimes? I wish I didn’t have to work so hard anymore. I used to think that if you don’t work, you won’t have money to eat, but if you go to work, it will be very hard. I used to be very worried about that but I stopped thinking about it. One day, when you returned home, eat dinner late at night. During the week, my father is busy every time, only on Sunday he is at home to play with me. I know you have to go to work but I think you also need to eat well to be healthy to go to work. On the occasion of today’s father’s day, I want to wish him good health, full of energy, success in work and lots of luck. Dad, always remember that it doesn’t matter if you fail, because when you come home, the family will always welcome you. I promise to study hard to please my parents. If I have money in the future, I will support my parents and with the rest of the money I will do good deeds to help sentient beings.
Rahula’s second lesson
- Rahula’s second lesson is the Mahà Ràhulovada sutta, which is a lesson on sitting meditation. At that time the Blessed One was staying at Savatthi, Jetavana, Anathapindika Vihara. In the morning when the Buddha was gone, Rahula whispered after him. When he knew Rahula was behind him, the Buddha told Rahula to observe with right wisdom that all dharmas are not mine, me, my self. The Buddha’s sutras said that Venerable Rahula did not continue to enter the village to hide food, but retreated and immediately sat down on a tree, cross-legged, straight back and had to rest in mindfulness in front of him. The Buddha assigned the task of protecting Rahula, seeing that, he asked Rahula to practice the practice of the practice of Initiation and Outgoing Mindfulness.
- In the afternoon, when Rahula came to the Buddha, he asked him to teach more about Import and Export. Therefore, the Buddha taught Rahula to observe with right wisdom about the earth, water, fire, wind and space worlds. , both in the internal and external bodies so that everyone can see that all is not mine, is me, is my self. He also analyzed for Rahula the conduct of the earth, of fire , of wind and of space . Then he immediately advised Rahula to practice according to the virtues of the precepts . The Buddha instructed Rahula to practice the four immeasurables. Finally, the Buddha instructed Rahula to practice the Four Foundations of Mindfulness through Entering and Outgoing, i.e. mindfulness related to body, feeling, mind, and dharma, and from there step by step towards dispassion, cessation, renunciation. The Buddha confirmed to Rahula that with such practice of mindfulness of the in-breath and out-breath, until the final in-breaths and out-breaths cease, the practitioner attains enlightenment.
Vĩnh Phúc
From the two lessons that the Buddha taught Rahula about impermanent body. I have learnt about what you will get from the dishonesty. I also learn about compassion, Meditation, wisdom. One more thing that I have learn is about impermanent body and how to do it successfully. In my opinion, to develop a meaningful working strategy to achieve success in your life, we will need to have a specific and detail plan about what you will do in the future. If you want to achieve your goal in a successfully way, you have to know what are you doing and does it help you to achieve your goal. You also need to know the purpose of doing it. For example, your goal is to achieve many degrees, but you just sitting down and play video, doing nothing that related to your goals. You will never achieve your goal. Which tell us that if you want to achieve your goals, you will need to do many things that will help you to achieve your goals. For example, I will make a timetable which will enable to accomplish my goals. I will quake up at 7:30 then I will do everything including brush my teeth, having breakfast, stuff like that. Until 8:15 I will go to my desk to do homework and then at 9:30 I will take a break. At 10 o’clock, I will continue to do my homework and then 11:30 I will have a lunch. After that, I will take a rest until 2 :30, I will do homework with different subjects. At 4 o’clock, I will strop learning then I will have a small meal to repair to do exercise. I think that with this timetable, if I follow it, I can easily achieve my goals.
At the morning, when Buddha go for alms and Rahula follow Buddha. Buddha told him to observe with right wisdom that all dharmas are not mine, me , my self. The sutras say that Venerable Rahula did not continue to enter the village for alms, but retreated and immediately sat down on a tree, cross- legged , straight back, resting in mindfulness in front of him. Venerable Sariputta who was assigned by the Buddha to look after Rahula, saw this, and told him to practice the entering and outgoing mindfulness. In the afternoon , after getting up from meditation, Venerable Rahula wen to the buddha to ask for some instruction about instant output and mindfulness. Therefore, the Buddha to observe with right wisdom the earth element, water element, fire element , air element and the space element both in side the body and outside the body to see that all is not mine, me and myself . He analyzed happiness . Buddha taught Rahula how to practice the four foundations of mindfulness through entering and outgoing. Mindfulness related to body, feeling, mind, and dharmas. From there, step by step towards dispassion, cessation, and renunciation. The Buddha confirm to Rahula that with such practice of mindfulness of the in- breath and the out-breath, until the final in-breaths and out- breaths cease , the meditator attains enlightment. Finally the Buddha teaches Rahula about honesty, compassion, Meditation, wisdom.

Rahula is the son of our beloved Buddha with princess Yasodhara. Rahula is also known as one of The Ten Great Disciples of the Buddha. - The second lesson Dhamma discourse the Buddha talk to Rahula is:Maha Rahulavada sutta. When Rahula was 18years old he fell in love with his body when Rahula and Buddha went for amls food in a village in Jatavana monastery, Rahula thought( the Buddha body is so beatiful and i like that too) the Buddha know that so he said( Rahula, whether beatiful or ugly we must think “ this is not mine, this is not mine “) Rahula understood Buddha teaching so he did not continute go for alms food, he meditates, under a tree, Venerable Sariputta did not know that the buddha taught Rahula. So he advised Rahulato pay attention to breath first. Rahula does not understood. The buddha taught one thing but teacher Sariputta taught another. But at that time Rahula did as Sariputta said. After he go to the Buddha and asked him about it.TH buddha explanied for Rahula. I think the buddha`s teaching means: sitting Meditation, watching the breath, there are also many diffrent ways to meditate such as: meditate Like fire, water, air, wind, land,loving-kindness. But the breath is the best. 3 things i think the buddha taught Rahula is: not to love body, meditate To watch the breath and loving-kindness or thinking carefully when you doing some thing.
- And Rahula understood that so he seriously followed the buddha teaching. And he attained Arahatship. Actually when i first read this Story i did not understand at all. But then i understood. I think its means: accept everything you have, do not regret what you lost, do not be selfish, let`s share with everyone. Because simply, today those things are ours but tomorrow it will be someone else`s. No one knows what`s will going in the future. Always think like Rahula ( this is not mine, this is not mine, i have to give it away do not be selfish, because this is will not mine. Nothing is for me forever, those things to can not be beatiful forever, and i can not use that thing forever, that is Impossible) for EX: Actually i also love my body too, i feel happy when i wear beatiful clothes but i feel ashamed when i wear ugly clothes, unfashionable clothes. I feel sad and ashamed to be honest about this. But now, when i learning Buddha teaching, i changed. I try to accept everything neither love or hate. I wear clothes suitable for me. I tried everyday. And now i am no ashamed when i wear clothes if that make me comfortable i will wear it.
THANKS READING MY HOMEWORK
- I also started practicing Meditation, watch my breath. And when i do those things i feel nice, comfortable, happy. And i learned to share with everyone too. And i also hope everyone will practice this good habits now. Its makes you a good person

Time goes by so fast, just like that, a week of the course has passed. My achievements in each school day, specifically as follows:
The first day. To answer two questions:
-What is Buddhism?
-What do we think of temples, their rituals and activities:
This is an all-encompassing question about Buddhism. I have to research and summarize the knowledge about Buddhism that I already know. Also learn more about the temples and their operating rituals.
Because it was the first day of the online course, I was still confused and the operation was slow. But I tried my best to finish the lessons assigned to me
The second day: my learning has improved because I have gradually gotten used to the way of online learning. The monk gave direct instructions on how to eat right. I learned how to eat that I never knew since I was a kid. It’s interesting. And how to behave when people treat you to a delicious dish. Besides, I had to memorize the pre-dinner meal in Pali and English. This is a big challenge for me; because Pali is very difficult to remember. But with great determination, I also finished even though I was a bit stumbling
Third day: After sitting meditation, the Master assigned the task to the whole class. Each person does a question: I was given the second sentence by the teacher: “Perhaps I am pure, moral and disciplined”. This is the gist of the Buddha’s teaching. To complete this exercise, I have to analyze each word, give real life examples to clarify the problem. So I have to try harder. Finally, the post is done
Day Four: My mission is to tell about Rahula’s life. This is a question that surprised me, because I did not know much about the son of the Buddha. To complete the task, I have to discuss with my classmates. Because of that, I know more about the life of Rahula, son of the Buddha. He is a wonderful example that we need to follow.
During the weekend study, I had to learn the main points that the Buddha taught Rahula. From what the Buddha taught my son, I have learned honesty, patience and always keeping my mind pure to apply it to my life flexibly. The school day has ended. I am very happy to have known and done many useful things.
THE FIRST DHAMMA RAHULA HAD LEARNT
The main points which the Buddha taught Rahula are truthfulness is the basic moral foundation of young children, like wise with Rahula, the Blessed One also taught Rahula about honest conduct, through close knit, relatable examples and images according to children’s preception to respect take can the receive the Dhamma. The Ambalatthika Rahulovadasutta was the first discourse the Buddha gave to Rahula:
“The Blessed One, after washing his feet, left a little water in the basin, and said to venerable Rhula: Even so, Rahula, is a recluse who knows how to lie, and has no evil qualities.
… Then the Blessed One, after pouring out a little water that was left, said to Rahula: Turn it upside down, Rahula, it’s the sa-mon of those who know and tell lies, not having a good heart.
…Then the Blessed One turned his back on the basin of water and said to the venerable Rahula: It is also empty, Rahula, is a recluse who knows how to lie, and has no evil qualities”.
With the water basin example; image of an elephant with a trunk in battle, it must protect its trunk as it protects life. If the elephant doesn’t protect its trunk, there’s nothing it won’t do. “In the same way, Rahula, to those who know a lie, there is so much thing as evil”.
Next, the Blessed One used the image of a mirror to reach Rahula to always keep the three karmas, to reflect on himself, whether this action is wholesome or unwholesome: “Rahula, after reflecting many times, I will purify myself. Personal career, after reflecting many times, I will purify my oral karma; After reflecting many times, I will purify my mind karma. Thus, Rahula, you need to practice”. Rahula listened to the teachings of the Blessed One and accepted the practice Rahula is only seven years old, so joking and lying can happen, so the lectures is only for prevention and education, advising Rahula not to have such acts. But many writes have said Rahula is naughty, or lies to deceive others for fun. Because Rahula is both a child of Buddha and comes from a nble line age, no one dares to blame Rahula. As author Dong Niem commented: “Rahula is young, so his temperament is not mature, ortenlies and is mischievous”. But since Rahula heard the Buddha teachings he was no longer mischievous and more diligent in his studies. Every day, Rahula wakes up very early, picks up hand full of sand in his hand, and makes a vow: “I hope that today I will learn as many teachers as the sand here”.

ASSESSMENT OF LEARNING RESULTS IN THE FIRST WEEK
DAY 1
In my experience, today’s young people see summer vacation as a time of fun and entertainment, not study, which makes them worse and so did my first day, but when I was introduced to the I feel quite depressed but after interacting with the class for a while, I feel different which makes me better. On the first day, I learned about Buddhism, sitting meditation, about temples, ceremonies.
DAY 2
The second day was quite a tiring day because I had to get up at 4 am and meditate for 15 minutes, it was quite painful but I could still bear it, after I finished meditating, I studied righteous eating. concept. What is the mind in eating and drinking, How can we be mindful in eating and drinking and children learn to chanting before meals
DAY 3
On the third day, I felt comfortable, I adapted to the teacher’s study conditions and I studied the Buddha’s words. I adapted to the teacher’s study conditions and I studied the Buddha’s words. On the third day, I was afraid to read my work in front of people because I was afraid that if I read it wrong, they would laugh at my work, and all the time, I felt very grateful to my teacher.
DAY 4
Wednesday is also the day I learn about Rahula and his life, but I can only write 200 words or more and I am still quite poor compared to other students in terms of his assignments.
DAY 5
Day 5 is the end of a week and I have completed 1/3 of a mile, time goes by too fast, if there are wishes in this world I wish I could turn back time and they would go slower but it’s just my illusion, and if it comes back to reality, i will cherish this moment for the rest of my life

- PUNCTUATION IS ESSSENTIAL
- DO NOT MAKE LONG SENTENCES. EACH SENTENCE CONTAINS ONE IDEA, THEN YOU EXPLAIN YOUR IDEAS, GIVE EXAMPLE
